Trip Itinerary
Landing at the “Nikola Tesla” International Airport
After arriving at Nikola Tesla International Airport in Belgrade, our guide will greet you with a sign displaying your name. This friendly companion will help with money exchange, share useful information about Belgrade, and take you to the hotel. The city center is about a 20-minute drive away. Check in, explore the city, or follow the guide’s recommendations for a great dinner. Overnight in Belgrade.
Tour to explore the Belgrade city and Optional Dinner at Skadarlija locality
After the breakfast in the morning, we will get for the detailed tour of the Belgrade city. Starting with the Belgrade fortress you will see The Victor Monument, Monument of Gratitude to France, Zindan Gate, Chapel of St. Petka, Clock Gate and The Clock Tower. Then, we will make a driving tour through New Belgrade during which we will be able to observe some of the most beautiful modern constructiveness. In Zemun you will be amazed with the spirit of the Central European streets paved with cobble-stones and fish houses near the Danube River. We will also visit Dedinje and the beautiful Saint Sava Temple as well. In the afternoon, you can get acquainted with Belgrade on your own, you can visit museums or simply walk along the central streets. Novi Sad is the second biggest city in Serbia and its capital is Sremski Karlovci.
Following breakfast we shall embark on a trip to Novi Sad – the second largest city in Serbia. On the way, a brief halt will be made at the 18th-century cultural town of Sremski Karlovci. Here you will be strolling through the old city’s cobble stone alleys, and seeing the First Serbian High School and the Old Patriarch’s Court. We will also visit a wine cellar to also taste the famous Bermet wine. In Novi Sad go to Petrovaradin Fortress and take a stroll in the Zmaj Jovina pedestrians area. Start the day with a lovely Serbian three course lunch then the rest of the afternoon and evening is at leisure to discover Novi Sad. Overnight in Belgrade.
Belgrade, Timisoara, Sibiu
The next day after breakfast and check out we will drive to Timisoara, third largest city in Romania which has very beautiful architecture. The guided tour will also include The Orthodox Cathedral, Victory Square, Liberty Square and Union Square. The next day in the morning you will drive even deeper eastwards to Sibiu where you will be stunned by the preserved Gothic architecture, and the ‘eyes’ on the roofs of the houses. Arrive at the hotel and go for sightseeing; Large Square, Small Square, Council Tower, Bridge of Lies and Orthodox Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. Have fun in Sibiu and have good use of the free afternoon. Overnight in Sibiu.
Sibiu, Sighisoara , Brasov
journey start to the Transylvanian Triangle, first stop Sighisoara – this beautiful town was enlisted in UNESCO list because of its well-preserved medieval core and because it is a birthplace of Vlad the Impaler. Visit the Church of the Dominican Monastery, Clock Tower and much more. After that, we will move to the next city called Brasov which is quite good city with some old buildings and sort of walls. On foot, we will visit; The world’s smallest street, The Black Church, Catherine’s Gate, Beth Israel Synagogue. During the day one should sightseeing and in the evening one can choose to either take it easy. Overnight in Brasov.
Brasov, Bran Castle, Sinaia Monastery, Peles Castle, Bucharest.
The whole day will be consumed in the car in Transylvania; first stop will be to Bran Castle or the Dracula Castle. The story of Vlad the Impaler should be familiar to anyone who wants to visit its towers and corridors. After that, head to Peles Castle–the Neo- Renaissance castle was built by King Carol I. You can see the palace and the park around, as well as interior decoration. We shall then proceed and go straight to Bucharest which is the capital city of Romania for check in and rest. Bucharest City Tour

After breakfast and check out we will cross the border to Bulgaria where we will visit the Rock Hewn Churches of Ivanova which is a world heritage site. After that we will go to Arbanasi – an open-air museum of Bulgaria, with medieval architecture. Last but not least, we will arrive at Veliko Tarnovo, the city that has great fortress and represents medieval architecture. Check into the hotel and spend the evening in this lovely town. Etar architectural and ethnographic complex, Veliko Tarnovo, Plovdiv, Sofia
After breakfast and check out we will visit the Open Air Ethnographic Museum Etar where we will be able to see the Bulgarian National Revival architecture and craft. After that, we will go to Plovdiv – one of the oldest cities in Europe to visit the theatre, stadium and Kapana area. Next, we will move to Sofia for rest and stay in the evening. Overnight in Sofia.
Sofia City Tour and Rila Monastery’s Optional Tour
After breakfast in the morning, we will discover Sofia; Serdica-Roman fortress walls, Rotunda St. George, Basilica of St. Sofia, Cathedral of Alexander Nevsky etc. In the afternoon sightseeing can be arranged in Sofia or a trip can be organized to the Rila Monastery which is a World Heritage site. Overnight in Sofia.
Sofia
Transferring from Bulgaria to Serbia the first stop will be Niš – the birthplace of Emperor Constantine. Tour guide attractions include Niš Fortress, Banovina Building, King Milan’s Square, Mediana, Skull Tower and Red Cross Nazi Concentration Camp. Thereafter, take meals, and then continue with the tour to Belgrade. Afternoon is free to explore Belgrade on your own or follow your guide’s advice when night comes. Overnight in Belgrade.
Leaving Serbia
